Is it normal to feel dizzy after vaping too much?
Hi @Aspire, yes this is actually quite normal — especially if you are new to vaping or using a higher nicotine strength than you are used to. Here is what is likely happening:
1. Too Much Nicotine — This is the most common cause. If you are using 50mg (5%) nic salts and feeling dizzy, try stepping down to 20mg or even 10mg. Lower nicotine delivers a smoother experience with less head rush.
2. Chain Vaping — Taking many puffs in quick succession can overload your system. Try waiting 30-60 seconds between puffs and stopping when you notice the first sign of a head change.
3. Dehydration — Vaping can dry you out. Drink water before and while you vape.
4. Device Power — If your device runs at high wattage, it delivers more vapor (and more nicotine) per puff. Lower the wattage if possible.
Here is the quick rule: If you feel dizzy, put the device down for 10-15 minutes and drink some water. If it persists beyond 30 minutes, stop for the day. Your tolerance will build over time.
Also worth noting: some people are more sensitive to PG (propylene glycol). If this keeps happening, try a higher VG liquid.
Take it slow and happy vaping! ![]()
I’ve experienced the same thing. I looked it up online and found that some people do have this reaction. Everyone’s body responds differently, and this condition is often referred to as a “nicotine allergy” or nicotine sensitivity.
At first, I thought I was just reacting badly to a specific brand. I started with RELX then switched to HOTMO and later to YOOZ but I still experienced the same symptoms. That’s when I realized the issue was with my own body’s reaction to nicotine rather than the brand itself.
If vaping makes you feel dizzy, it’s best to stop using it.
